Blog#1

Why do people blog? I suppose to have a voice, get things off our chest, like putting a note in a bottle and throwing it out to sea, hoping someone will find it and know our thoughts. Everyone wants to be heard at one time or another to know they're alive, that someone is listening. We want our opinions to count, to matter, even if in the end we get outvoted or no one agrees. It still feels better than saying nothing at all, to be invisible and silent, nonexistent. This is my first small attempt to join the conversation.
